One real use case, built on your data, in your Databricks workspace, in weeks rather than quarters. You see what works before you commit a big budget. When it's done, you own everything we built.

We move data and workloads off SQL Server, Oracle, and other legacy warehouses and onto Databricks. We plan the order, move it in stages, and check the numbers match before anything is switched off. Your reports keep running while we work.

Before models and agents touch your data, we set up who can see what, using Databricks Unity Catalog. Then we help you build AI that works inside those rules. Your data stays in your account, under your control.
How we work

Assess (typically about 2 weeks)
We talk with your team, review your current systems, and tell you plainly whether Databricks fits and where to start.
Plan (typically 1 to 2 weeks)
We agree on one first project, what "done" looks like, who does what, and what it will cost.
Pilot (typically 4 to 8 weeks)
We build that first project on your real data, in your own Databricks workspace. You see results before you scale.
Scale and hand off (varies by scope)
We extend what worked, migrate what's next, and train your team to run it. You own the code, the data, and the accounts.
Why Deming Street
Senior experience. Scott Hart spent [about 25] years at Oracle, most recently as Vice President and General Manager of Customer Success. He has seen what makes large data projects land and what makes them stall.
Databricks partner. Deming Street Machines was approved as a Databricks partner in October 2026.
Local. Based in Raleigh, North Carolina. We work with companies in the DC metro area (DC, close-in Maryland, and Northern Virginia), North Carolina, and South Carolina, and we show up in person when it helps.
